Small businesses (less than 20 employees) may soon be eligible for a rebate of up to $3,500 to cover up to 50% of the cost of their new rooftop solar PV. This means double rebates for Victorian small businesses !! because the federal government STC rebate scheme will also apply ..
The Solar for Business Program will initially be available to businesses operating in their own premises, before expanding soon after to include businesses that rent their premises. Ownership of a premises also includes a property which is owned by an associated entity such as a Family Trust, Holding Company or Self Managed Super Fund.
